Boss Introduces DC-2W Dimension C and MT-2W Metal Zone Pedals
Boss has added to their Waza Craft lineup of pedals with reissues of two classic stompboxes: the DC-2W Dimension C and MT-2W Metal Zone. As part of the Waza Craft series, the new pedals feature Boss’s original analog designs with “artful refinements for enhanced performance and versatility.”
The DC-2W Dimension C combines the original DC-2 pedal with the SDD-320 Dimension D studio rack effect that it was based on. It has a four-button preset interface with LED status indicators for each setting. A button switches between DC-2W and SDD-320 modes, each of which has four main sounds with six variations by pressing two of the buttons together. This allows for a total of 20 unique sounds. Other features include stereo I/O, a premium buffer, and enhanced bypass circuitry.
Boss’s Metal Zone is their second best selling pedal of all time. The new MT-2W offers the original grit and more. “Standard mode delivers an evolved version of the original mid-focused Metal Zone tone, while Custom mode introduces a fresh, wide-ranging voice that’s perfectly suited for today’s diverse high-gain styles.”
