Electro-Harmonix has announced the Grand Canyon, a pedal that features 12 delay effect types plus a fully featured looper. It offers up to three seconds of delay time with tap tempo and nine tap divide settings.
The 12 modes include a 24-bit digital delay, a modulated delay, a multi-tap delay, a Deluxe Memory Man style delay, a tape delay, a plate reverb with echo, a polyphonic pitch shift with delay, a shimmer effect, a sample and hold, a drum echo, and a double effect for thickening your sound. Its looper section allows for 16 minutes of recording time with overdubs, undo/redo functions, a dedicated stop button, loop fade-out, reverse and speed adjust.
Other features of the Grand Canyon include stereo output, 13 presets, programmable EXP pedal settings, and analog bypass with soft switching. It will be available soon with a street price of $249.
