John Paul Jones to Team Up with Thurston Moore for Benefit Concert

Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones has announced he’ll be performing on March 28th at the 100 Club in London for a special charity event. The concert will be with a new trio comprised of Sonic Youth guitarist Thurston Moore and drummer Steven Noble.
JPJ and the gang will be raising funds for the community radio station Resonance FM, which writes that the performance will be a “unique musical meeting of three of the most inventive performers of our time — for perhaps the only time.”
After his time in Led Zeppelin, Jones has kept busy with bands like Dave Rawlings Machine, Them Crooked Vultures and Snoweye. He’s also written and produced music ranging from opera to electronica.
Tickets for the event are about $65 and are available here.
