G&L Introduces the Fullerton Deluxe Bass Series

G&L Guitars has introduced the Fullerton Deluxe range of basses including two new models. The Fullerton Deluxe JB and Fullerton Deluxe LB-100 are both made in the company’s Fullerton, California shop with “upscale appointments curated from the company’s extensive options catalog and packages them for enhanced value.”

The new JB is built with an alder body, hard rock maple neck, and Caribbean Rosewood fingerboard. It comes in two combinations: 3-tone Sunburst with a tortoise pickguard or Lake Placid Blue with a 3-play parchment pickguard. It’s loaded with a pair of G&L’s vintage Alnico jazz pickups with a volume/volume/tone control layout. Other features include a Saddle Lock bridge with chrome-plated bass saddles, Ultra-lite tuners with aluminum tapered string posts, and a deluxe Tolex hardshell case.

Hear it in this demo from Dylan Wilson:

The LB-100 is crafted with the same wood combinations but with a different set of color schemes. It comes in a 3-tone sunburst with a 3-ply black pickguard or in Fullerton Red with a 3-ply tortoise pickguard. Its pickup is a G&L vintage split-coil.

The G&L Fullerton Deluxe JB and LB-100 are shipping now with prices of $1,499 and $1,449, respectively.
