Snow Owl: The Horde

Three years after releasing The Blue Road, bassist and composer Juan García-Herreros (a.k.a., Snow Owl) is gearing up to release the followup: The Red Road. Snow Owl has just released the first single from The Red Road, called “The Horde.”

The track is evidence that The Red Road will be a major shift from The Blue Road’s more tranquil feel. The six-string bassist explains The Red Road explores the warrior hunter’s path and digs deep into heavier music.

“An intricate instrumentation surrounds the distinguished vocal soloists through ‘The Horde,’ his website says. “For this Single Snow Owl invited a remarkable selection of musicians to stand in the circle with his tribal bloodline. Accompanying the Single’s release, ‘The Horde’s’ official video unites these totem warriors in Vienna, which include award-winning bandmates from his work with Hans Zimmer, alongside two established members of the Austrian Heavy Metal scene.”
