Hartke Unveils XL Series V2 Bass Cabinets
Hartke was at the 2019 Winter NAMM Show to unveil the XL Series V2 bass cabinets, which commemorate 35 years of the business and the original aluminum-cone cabinet that was hand-built by Larry Hartke. The new version of the XL Series will include two new models and a revamped design.
“The XL Series V2 will house Hartke’s classic all-aluminum speaker design inside a more durable, modern-looking cabinet enclosure while delivering bass tone with broad dynamics,” Hartke writes.
The lineup will begin with the 210XL V2 and the 410XL V2, each of which will be built with solid 3/4″ plywood enclosures covered in textured vinyl. The 2×10 has a single-chamber, sealed cabinet design and is capable of handling 200 watts at 8 ohms, whereas the 4×10 has a dual-chamber, dual-ported cabinet and ups the power to 400 watts at 8 ohms. Both models have dual parallel 1/4-inch inputs.
The Hartke 210XL V2 and 410XL V2 will be shipping in April with price points of $279.99 and $399.99, respectively.
