Eastwood Guitars Now Shipping Warren Ellis Bass Guitar
Eastwood Guitars has rounded out their signature series of instruments with Warren Ellis by introducing the Warren Ellis bass guitar model. Ellis, who works with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, worked with the company to add low end to his arsenal.
“Designed and voiced to work/integrate with your pedalboard rig, we wanted a low-end instrument that you could quickly switch to from your guitar and have it open up a whole new sonic world that you didn’t know was down there,” Eastwood writes.
The bass is built with a solid alder body that comes in three finishes: Vintage Cream, Dark Cherry, and Black. Its maple neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. Central to the design is the Warren Ellis blade pickup, which is a custom voiced version of the pickup found through the rest of the series.
“Whatever you push at the Warren Ellis Bass Guitar: fuzz, saturated distortion, ring mods, 20 second reverbs, deep flanges, loop after loop after loop, it will work with you, and inspire you to create,” the company adds. “Oh, and it also sounds pretty cool through a bass amp, you know, as a bass.”
The Eastwood Guitars Warren Ellis Bass Guitar is available now for $799.
