Dingwall Guitars D-Roc Rob van der Loo “Hellboy” Limited Edition 5-string Bass

Dingwall has just released a new limited edition bass they call “the bass from Hell.” The company partnered with Darkglass Electronics, Dark Horse Comics, and Rob van der Loo from Epica to create the D-Roc Rob van der Loo “Hellboy” Limited Edition 5-string bass. The instrument has a custom Darkglass onboard distortion circuit as well as Hellboy licensed graphics to coincide with the new Hellboy movie.

The Khaya body has a special cut on the bridge end of the bass as well as a newly designed bridge. Its maple neck sports a 20-fret pau ferro fingerboard. Controls include a Master Volume, a Rotary pickup selector, a Drive, and Drive Level, and a Master Tone.

Pricing for the Dingwall D-Roc Rob van der Loo “Hellboy” Limited Edition 5-string bass has yet to be announced. It is available for order now with delivery in late 2019 or early 2020.

    Cool, but what would be more exciting is if I could get the Aquamarine sparkle D-Bird I placed a down payment on back in August, 2018…… Where is my bass???? LOL…
