Prophets of Rage Release New Single

Prophets of Rage

Prophets of Rage has released a new single called “Made With Hate,” which is their first new music since last year’s “Heart Afire.” The track is of course anchored by a massive bass line provided by Tim Commerford.

“As with many songs ‘Made With Hate’ was formed out of a conversation amongst ourselves about the level of passion fuel it takes to create,” says rapper Chuck D. “Especially when attacking something of HATE. You must create the energy to hate ‘HATE’. To have PEACE you have to despise Hatred with a passion for Peace and attack it. You can’t have hate take over anything especially history, so you have to fuel yourself to attack in thought word and deed with equal passion.”

The band – which features members of Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy, and Cypress Hill – have said their second album is already done although a release date hasn’t been set. Commerford said it will be a departure from their 2017 self-titled debut.

“It’s a different direction, it’s not the same, and I love that,” he said. “We’re growing and we’re creating and we’re going in a new territory and I feel really good about it.”

“Made With Hate” is available for download via iTunes and Amazon MP3.
