Stuart Clayton Publishes New Marcus Miller Transcription Book
Marcus Miller’s 2015 album Afrodeezia was yet another powerful collection of soulful music and incredible bass playing. Now you can get some of that bass playing in written format with a new release from Bassline Publishing.
Marcus Miller – Highlights from Afrodeezia is a transcription book by Stuart Clayton that features six of the album’s bass-centric songs in both standard notation and tablature formats. Each song includes extensive performance notes while a detailed analysis of his playing lets you better understand how to emulate him. The book also includes a biography of Miller plus information on the instruments he uses.
The 128-page book is available now through Bassline Publishing for $21.50.
