Time to share some a round-up of bass goodness for your listening pleasure. Here are the top 10 reader favorite videos we shared in June.

1. Donald Fagen: Weather In My Head (Live)
Tim Lefebvre shared this on Twitter saying, “This one time gig led to many good things.” That gig was a date on Late Night with David Letterman in 2012, with Donald Fagen. It is cool to see Tim along with his other bandmates in Wayne Krantz Trio!
2. Stevie Wonder: I Wish (Live, 2016)
WATCH: During the 2016 British Summer Time Hyde Park festival, Stevie Wonder got the crowd going with this performance of “I Wish.” Nate Watts drives the tune with precision while throwing in some tasty fills along the way.
3. Tal Wilkenfeld: Counterfeit (Live)
Tal Wilkenfeld is currently on tour in support of her new album, “Love Remains.” Here’s a live performance of “Counterfeit,” the album’s second track.
4. Vulfpeck: Disco Ulysses
I’ve been hoping Vulfpeck would release the video for “Disco Ulysses”, and they did just that. The track is one of my favorites on their album, “Hill Climber,” and another great showcase for the grooves and moves by Joe Dart.
5. Geezer Butler and Deadland Ritual: Broken and Bruised
Geezer Butler’s new project Deadland Ritual has just released their first music video for a new song called “Broken and Bruised.” The Black Sabbath bassist’s musical stamp is evident and his snarling bass ties the track together.
6. Hiromi Uehara Trio Project: Dancando no Paraiso
A big happy birthday to one of the legends of bass, Anthony Jackson. We’re celebrating today with this video of the Hiromi Uehara Trio Project’s live performance of “Dancando no Paraiso” at Jazz à Vienne in 2011. Smoking!
7. Partly Sunny: Victor Bailey Documentary
I can’t believe I missed this video until now. Released in November 2017, here’s “Partly Sunny,” which is described as “a humble documentary of the late great bassist Victor Bailey.” What a tribute to one of the greats in bass history.
8. D’Angelo & The Vanguard: “Betray My Heart” & “Spanish Joint”
Can you ever get enough Pino Palladino? My vote is no. Case in point: check out Pino in concert with D’Angelo from the 2015 North Sea Jazz Festival.
9. Chic: Everybody Dance
Bernard Edwards was the king of making danceable bass lines. Case in point: “Everybody Dance” by Chic. This clip of the band performing on a 1977 broadcast of TopPop, and starts off with a look at the bassist's unique right-hand technique to kick off the song.
10. Nenad Vasilic: Sarabande
Our friend Nenad Vasilic sent us this spectacular video performance of J.S.Bach’s “Sarabande” from “Cello Suite No.2,” which he recorded on old vintage Jazz bass.
