Soundgarden Releases “Live from the Artists Den”

Soundgarden: Live from the Artists DenAn incredible 2013 concert by Soundgarden has been released in multiple formats. Soundgarden: Live from the Artists Den was recorded during the band’s King Animal tour and features several tracks from the album as well as songs from their entire career. It includes several songs that have never been on a Soundgarden concert film before as well as the first live performance of “Blind Dogs.”

The concert that was recorded took place at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, California. When asked why the band played such an intimate venue, bassist Ben Shepherd said, “I love it. I think it sounds good here, too. That’s what I care about more for the fans: to be able to hear everything correctly. It’s more of a gift to the fans, I guess.”

Soundgarden: Live from the Artists Den is available now in a limited edition super deluxe box set that includes the 29-song concert on Blu-Ray with 30 minutes of band interviews, 4 LPs, 2 CDs, a 40-page photo book, four-band member lithos, a replica all-access pass, and a replica ticket stub. It’s also available separately on Blu-ray, CD, vinyl and as a digital download (iTunes and Amazon MP3).
