Fuzzrocious Pedals Announces Cicada Fuzz V5 Pedal
Fuzzrocious Pedals has unveiled the fifth iteration of their Cicada Fuzz, which is produced in limited numbers each year. Version five of the tremolo-fuzz pedal is limited to 17 units in homage to the 17 Year Periodical Cicada.
It has two speed pots that can be selected with a footswitch, while a Tymbal control adjusts a filter on the circuit to replicate the sound of a cicada. Other features include a gate, an oscillation (feeback) switch, and a Voice switch to toggle the fuzz between germanium diodes, no diodes, and 1n914 diodes.
Check out the pedal’s sound on guitar and bass:
The Fuzzrocious Cicada Fuzz V5 is available for order for $300.
