Bass of the Week: Claas Guitars Moby Dick B4 0317

Claas Guitars Moby Dick B4 0317 Bass

This week we’re taking a look at an otherworldly bass by Germany’s Claas Guitars. This Moby Dick bass from their custom shop has a headless design with a singlecut body. Its top is poplar burl that’s finished in green. Add in the Lace Alumitone pickups and it looks like a piece of alien weaponry. Claas took it further with a fascinating glow-in-the-dark Universe inlay that splays across the fretboard.
