Fender Unveils New Player Series Bass Colors

Fender has introduced two new colors to their Player Series: Silver and Capri Orange. The new hues apply to the entire mid-priced, made-in-Mexico line including the Fender Player Precision, Player Jazz Bass, and the Player Jaguar Bass.
Fender’s website, however, does not list the new colors as available on the fretless version of the Jazz bass, the left-handed Precision, or the five-string Jazz.
The Fender Player Series was introduced in June as a replacement for the company’s Standard Series. Aside from the new finishes, the specs remain the same for each model.
The Fender Player Precision, Player Jazz Bass, the Player Jazz Bass, and the Player Jaguar Bass are shipping in the next few weeks with price points of $674.99.

Old.
Old news.
Why isn’t Fender offering more 5 string versions of their bass line up, i.e. a 5 string PJ model, or a 5 string unlined Fretless model of anything ???
