The 11th Annual Rocky Mountain Bass Slam has announced a new lineup for their headliners. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Chuck Rainey will not be able to attend. However, the slot has been filled by groove guru Cody Wright, who will perform alongside Doug Johns and Andy Irvine.

“Cody Wright is known for his virtuosity on the electric bass using picking, tapping, and fingerstyle, along with his genre-bending style and adaptability,” the RMBS organizers write. “Cody has toured nationally & internationally with Eric Gales, Ghost-Note feat. MonoNeon, Jonathan Scales Fourchestra, Ron Holloway Band, Albert Cummings, Everyone Orchestra, Jeff Sipe & Billy Cardine, Jazz is Phish and James Brown Dance Party.”

As we reported, the bass event will be held in Denver, Colorado on October 19th and 20th. It will feature local bassists Paul Rogalski, Glenn Tapia, Jodie Woodward, Hillary Freeman, Kirwan Brown, Noah Mast, Jeff Andrews, Bryan Tessema, Matt Skellenger, and more. Attendees can also demo products from vendors and hang out for a bass clinic with the headliners on the 19th.
