Cort Introduces the Action HH4 Bass

Cort has introduced the Action HH4, a bass that features a two-humbucker pickup configuration. Complete with switchable active 2-band and passive operation, the bass offers a variety of tones.
“The Action HH4 features a pair of new VTB-H humbucker pickups with Alnico V magnets for a smooth, musical sound, with a powerful yet articulate punch in the low-midrange and bass registers,” the company writes. “This is where the specially wired 5-way switch offers a distinct advantage, giving players the ability to choose each pickup on its own or both, as well as two parallel modes with the two inside coils or two outside coils. The tone control has also been wired to be usable in the passive setting for even more tonal variety.”
The Action HH4 (also available as a five-string HH5) is built with a meranti body, Canadian hard maple neck, and a jatoba fingerboard. It comes in three color variations: Blood Red Metallic, Tasman Light Blue, and Black.
The Cort Action HH4 is available with an MSRP of $499.99, while the HH5 will come in at $549.99.
