MXR Unveils the Limited Edition Brown Acid Fuzz Pedal

MXR Brown Acid Fuzz PedalMXR has added to their Custom Shop fuzz lineup with the Brown Acid Fuzz, a pedal that “delivers psychedelic silicon saturation to guitar and bass players who like it low, slow, and heavy.”

The limited edition pedal is based on a classic 70’s UK fuzz circuit and features a three-knob configuration with Output, Tone, and Fuzz controls.

“Whether you want to ride droning power chord currents across the universe or summon burly grooves at an ancient altar, this pedal has all you need for your musical invocations,” MXR writes.

The enclosure features artwork by Bay Area artist Alan Forbes. Sound samples are few, but StompBoxTV made an early demo:
