Black Veil Brides Part Ways with Ashley Purdy

The Black Veil Brides have announced that bassist Ashley Purdy has left the band. The news was posted by the group on their social media pages.
“Black Veil Brides and Ashley Purdy have mutually agreed to part ways. We have enjoyed a wonderful run together and both parties wish one another continued success moving forward,” the band said in a statement.
Purdy joined the band ten years ago in 2009, which was three years after the band’s formation. He appeared on all five of their studio albums. The news came just days after the announcement of a large tour with In This Moment scheduled for next year. A replacement bassist has not been named.
