Janek Gwizdala Publishes “Bass Player’s Guide to Looping”
Looping has become a staple for many bass players. From practice to performance, bassists have been gotten more and more creative with the craft. Now Janek Gwizdala is sharing his deep knowledge of looping with a new book, Bass Player’s Guide to Looping.
“Since my first days with the Line6 DL4, to my solo-bass ‘Last Minute World Tour’ with an array of TC Electronic Ditto Loopers, this book has been more than 20 years in the making,” he writes. “It covers everything from the very basics of live pedal looping, to practice routines with the looper, composition techniques, how to use multiple loopers, and guides to advanced live performance.” The book also includes illustrations of all of his tour rig pedals with their his settings.
Bass Player’s Guide to Looping is available as an eBook or a physical copy. It comes with over two hours of video instruction with bonus features, live footage, and a step-by-step guide on pedal settings and signal chain.
