The Wood Brothers Release New Single Ahead of Album, Tour Dates
The Wood Brothers are gearing up for a new album in January called Kingdom in My Mind. The trio of Oliver Wood, Chris Wood, and Jano Rix have announced an extensive tour to support the album, plus they’ve just released a new single entitled “Little Bit Sweet.” A press release says the track is exemplary of the album’s deep lyrics, buoyant arrangements, and broad stylistic spectrum.
“We all have these little kingdoms inside of our minds,” explains Chris Wood. “Without really planning it out, the songs on this album all ended up exploring that idea in some way or another. They look at the ways we deal with our dreams and our regrets and our fears and our loves. They look at the stories we tell ourselves and the ways we balance the darkness and the light.”

The Wood Brothers tour will kick off January 29th in Baltimore, Maryland and will cross the nation through April with a date in Canada and one in the Dominican Republic. Kingdom in My Mind will be available on January 24th.
