JZ Replacement (Featuring Tim Lefebvre): Don’t Be Scared
Tim Lefebvre shared this clip of his last performance in Europe before he had to leave for the States earlier this month. The gig was with JZ Replacement, which is a saxophone and drums duo comprised of Zhenya Strigalev and Jamie Murray.
“Don’t Be Scared” begins with a free jam including otherworldly sounds from Lefebvre. They then kick in to the tune’s groove and build in intensity before Lefebvre creates a new soundscape.
Like the rest of us, Lefebvre is self-isolating and cannot tour for work. He’s just launched a new Patreon account with his wife Rachel Eckroth that gives supporters performances, gear advice, and instructional videos.
