Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten to Host Free Webinar with Dave Ellefson, Justin Chancellor, and Billy Sheehan

Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey

Berklee College of Music bass chair Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten have organized an amazing bass hang for Thursday, April 16th at 1 pm Easter Time. The webinar, which is free and open to the public, will feature a conversation with Megadeth’s Dave Ellefson, Tool’s Justin Chancellor, and Billy Sheehan about what Rock Bass is and how it is played.

“We will explore the evolution of their musical journeys, and with the help of some of their musical counterparts, drummer Dirk Verbeuren, Ray Luzier, and Danny Carey,” an announcement reads. “We will better understand the ‘heavy’ drum/bass relationship where groove, precision, and intensity are key.”

The interactive webinar will allow viewers to submit questions as they talk about career advice, gig stories, and more.

The webinar is hosted via Zoom. It is free, but registration is required. To sign up, visit the Berklee Campus Zoom site.
