Primus “A Tribute to Kings” Tour Officially Postponed

Les Claypool

Primus has officially postponed their upcoming Rush tribute tour, which was also set to feature Wolfmother, The Sword, and Battles. “A Tribute To Kings” was to celebrate the legendary Canadian band by playing the album A Farewell To Kings in full each night Primus performed. Luckily, it seems the band is still committed to making it happen once quarantine restrictions are lifted.

“The upcoming ‘Primus: A Tribute To Kings’ tour is being rescheduled,” their website states. “Primus has been looking forward to celebrating this legendary Rush album, but want to ensure everyone’s health and safety is not at risk. New dates are being worked on at this time and information will become available the moment it’s able to be shared.” Fans who already bought the tickets are asked to hold onto them as they will be valid for the new dates.

Even though we’ll have to wait for the “Tribute” tour, we can still enjoy Les Claypool’s obsession with Rush with this clip of him performing at the band’s Hall of Fame ceremony:
