Sire Announces the P10 Bass
Sire is launching several new models for June including the new P10, which they describe as the higher version of their P7 model. “Just like the V10, the P10 has a roasted flame maple neck, giving you a high-end feel and sound,” the company says.
The P10, which will come in four and five-string versions, also steps things up with a flame maple top over its alder body. It will be fitted with their Marcus Premium Revolution pickups as well as a Marcus Heritage-3 preamp. The control set includes an active/passive toggle, a volume/tone dual pot, a pickup blend, treble, a middle/mid-frequency dual pot, and bass controls. Other features include a Marcus Miller heavy mass bridge and open-gear tuners.
The Sire P10 will come in Tobacco Sunburst and Natural finishes. It is expected to launch in June, though the pandemic has pushed back its original release date. It will have a price point of $1,499.
