Spector and Blackstar Announce Limited Edition FLY 3 Bass Amp
Spector has teamed up with Blackstar Amplification to release a limited edition version of the FLY 3 bass amp. The compact practice amp, which offers 3 watts of power through a 3-inch speaker, is adorned with the Spector logo. As small as the amp is, it has a good handful of features.
“Combining two selectable channels, a continuously variable mid-cut EQ, a sub bass and a compressor for ultimate control over your dynamics; it’s the perfect take-anywhere amp for your bass guitar, phone or tablet,” the companies write. “Beyond being an incredible, portable bass amp, the FLY 3 Bass also comes with an MP3 / LINE IN jack built-in, allowing you to connect to your MP3 player, mobile phone, laptop, tablet, etc. and jam along to your favorite tracks.”
It also has an emulated line output for use with headphones or recording. Finally, the compact unit is battery powered for portable use.
