TC Electronic Unveils the Ditto+ Looper Pedal
TC Electronic has expanded its line of Ditto looper pedals with the Ditto+. The new generation of looper expands the Ditto’s simple format with new features like 99 loop slots, 60 minutes of record time, and an Extend Loop mode.
“The groundbreaking Extend Loop Mode lets you put longer overdubs on top of shorter loops by stacking the short ones together side by side,” the company explains. “Imagine you’ve cooked up a cool little progression over a few bars and you’re about to rip a sweet riff on top of it, now you don’t have to worry about your riff being cut short. When you start the overdub, DITTO+ will repeat the first loop until you’re done and sew it all together into one tasty track.”
The pedal, which has a hi-res color display, also lets you import premade loops and backing tracks for playing along. If you still want the same simplicity of the Ditto, it has an Original Ditto Looper mode, as well.
TC Electronic has yet to announce pricing and availability for the Ditto+ Looper. We’ll keep you updated as that information becomes available.
