Gospel Rhythm Webinar

Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci are back this Thursday at 1pm Eastern with another special webinar. This week’s topic is “Gospel Rhythm: Bass and Drum Pioneers and Practitioners,” which will feature a who’s who of the Gospel world. That includes bassists Andrew Gouche, Chris Loftlin, and Justin Raines as well as drummers Calvin Rodgers, Sput Searight, and Varo Johnson.

“From the Church to the Coliseums, these rhythm apostles have created the soundtrack to much of Contemporary Gospel, as we know it,” The webinar description explains. “Look out for surprise guests as well!”

The free Zoom webinar will take place Thursday, July 23rd at 1 pm Eastern time. As always, it is brought to you by the Berklee Bass Department and TheBassVault.com. While it’s free to join, you must register ahead of time via the Berklee Campus Zoom page.

In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more.
