AC/DC Officially Reunites for New Album
After months of speculation, the rumors have been confirmed: AC/DC is back. The band, which fell into turmoil in the past few years, have reunited their classic lineup for a new album called PWR-UP.
The iconic rock band will once again feature vocalist Brian Johnson, lead guitarist Angus Young, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young (who takes the place of the late Malcolm Young), drummer Phil Rudd, and bassist Cliff Williams. The bass player joined the band in 1977 and officially retired in 2016 following the Rock or Bust World Tour.
The band dropped the news with an album cover as well as a 30-second teaser of the first single, “Shot In The Dark.” The short clip is all it takes to let you know that AC/DC is alive and well.
A release date for the full song and album has not been announced. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
