Spector Unveils NS Pulse Bass Guitar
Spector is launching a new line of instruments called the NS Pulse Series, and they’re kicking off the range with the NS Pulse. The bass features their flagship NS body shape and is described as representing the core of Spector’s iconic design.
“The three-dimensionally carved body is a trademark of the Spector brand and provides a uniquely comfortable playing experience for all bassists,” they write. “This NS Pulse model features a solid Swamp Ash body paired with a three-piece Roasted Maple bolt-on neck, complete with a Macassar Ebony fingerboard. The roasting process results in a neck that provides enhanced stability & resonance, while the Macassar Ebony fingerboard ensures clear note definition and projection.”
Spector also fits the bass with a pair of EMG active pickups and their TonePump Jr. preamp. Finally, the NS Pulse’s sandblasted finish comes in either Cinder Red or Charcoal Grey stains.
The Spector NS Pulse will be available early next year with a price of $1,099 for four-string basses and $1,199 for five-string versions.
