G&L Guitars Fullerton Deluxe Fallout Bass - 3-Tone Sunburst

Last year, G&L introduced the Launch Edition of a new model called the Fallout bass. Now, it’s an official part of the USA-made Fullerton Deluxe lineup. The short-scale bass comes in four color schemes with differing fingerboards. The Black and 3-tone Sunburst versions will have a Caribbean rosewood fingerboard, while the Tangerine Metallic and Shell Pink versions are fitted with a maple fingerboard.

Common features include an alder body, four-bolt hard rock maple neck, and a slim “C” neck profile. Each Fallout is fitted with a G&L Magnetic Field Design humbucking pickup controlled by a 3-position mini-toggle switch for parallel/split/OMG modes.

One of the better demos of a new bass I’ve seen in a long time! Dan Lutz’s playing, instead of him just showing off how fast he can slap, his expert, cool, sensible playing really makes this Fallout Bass sound great! I’d love to see a lot of new bass guitars demo’d by players as talented as Dan Lutz… So enjoyable, and I really dig that G&L Fallout bass too! -But right now unfortunately it’s just too expensive for me. Perhaps in the future…
