Bergantino Announces NXV “Neo X-Treme Vintage” Bass Cabinets
Bergantino has unveiled a new line of bass cabinets with the NXV (NEO-X-Treme Vintage) Series. The lineup includes four lightweight configurations that are loaded with the company’s proprietary drivers first introduced with the NXT Series.
“Bergantino’s brand new NXV series is based on the same innovative Neo XTreme Technology drivers, but lends itself to a more vintage vibe both in looks and sonic delivery, perfect for those players who don’t need or wish for that percussive top-end sparkle that the NXT range offers,” the company writes. “The vintage voicing of the NXV range means that no tweeter was needed to be implemented in the design, as NXV’s driver’s high frequency response extends high enough to please those players who want a solid and classic bass tone. Ideal for blues, soul, rock, metal and many other styles of music, the premium components in the NXV series will bring your sound to life, sit you in the mix with the punch and quality tone you crave, yet give you the flexibility to cut through when it is your time to shine.”
The range includes the NXV112 (400W), NXV210 (500W), NXV212 (800W), and the NXV410 (1000W). Each is built with a lightweight Italian poplar cabinet including a Baltic birch baffle. The covering is Bronco Tolex with a silver grill cloth and chromed metal cabinet corners. As mentioned, the cabs are insanely light with the 4×10 coming in at just 59 pounds.
The Bergantino NXV Series will be shipping in March with prices of $799 for the 1×12, $999 for the 2×10, $1,299 for the 2×12, and $1,599 for the 4×10.
