Stuart Clayton Publishes “The Chic Book”
It’s time to get your dance on. Stuart Clayton has just released The Chic Book, a transcription book that compiles 18 songs with both bass and guitar parts written out. That means you can learn the parts from both Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards on hits they recorded with Chic, Sister Sledge, and Diana Ross.
“Each part of each song is transcribed and analyzed in painstaking detail and presented in standard notation and TAB,” Clayton states. “The book also includes a detailed history of Chic and biographies of Bernard and Nile.”
The Chic Book is 140 pages long. It’s available now through Bassline Publishing for $20.
