BassCon Online 3 Scheduled for April 16-18

BassCon Online 3

After two successful events last year, BassCon Online is back for the third time. The three-day event will be held April 16th through the 18th with an amazing roster of bassists giving lessons.

That includes Ariane Cap teaching a clinic called “Creating Grooves with 2 Ears, 4 Fingers, and 5 Numbers” and Lars Lehmann explaining using different sounds for different situations. Adam Nitti will discuss “How to interact but not interfere,” and Dominique di Piazza will discuss bringing musical elements from all over the world into your playing. Each of those lessons is two hours long and includes Q&A sessions with the teachers.

Aside from the clinics, guests Scott Reeder, Dave Swift, Victor Brandt, and more will be on hand to virtually hang out and chat. A luthiers roundtable discussion on innovations in bass building will be held on April 16th with Sheldon Dingwall and Gerald Marleaux.

Finally, BassCon Online will have special giveaways being raffled off during the lessons, with prizes from Ernie Ball, Lehle, Bassline Publishing, and Richter Straps.

BassCon Online 3 runs April 16-18. The first day is free, while tuition for Saturday and Sunday is €129 (approximately $153 USD). For more information, visit the BassCon Online Facebook page.
