Matt Freeman Joins The Vulturas

Southern California punk band The Vulturas has announced a new full-time member. Rancid and former Operation Ivy bassist Matt Freeman is now a permanent member of the group, they announced.
“Super stoked to be playing Bass for [The Vulturas] now!” the bass icon wrote on Instagram. “We just released a new song ‘Bastard Sons’ available on all streaming platforms. More to come. Thanks!”
Freeman, known for his ripping lines on songs like Rancid’s “Maxwell Murder”, dishes out gutsy tone and driving lines to push the energy on “Bastard Sons”.
“Bastard Sons” is available for streaming via iTunes and Amazon. The Vulturas write that the song is “one of many” they have ready, so be on the lookout for an album.
