In this clip from 2013, we see pianist Brian Culbertson in the studio with The Yellowjackets rhythm section: Will Kennedy and Jimmy Haslip.
They need no introduction, but this clip is a clinic on drums and bass locking in the pocket. Once that metronome clicks and the red light comes on, they get serious! Listen to that LOCK.
