Brubaker Guitars Announces the JXB-USA Standard Bass
Brubaker Guitars has unveiled a new bass to their lineup called the JXB-USA Standard. Built in the U.S. with locally sourced and sustainably harvested woods, the model is a take on the classic J-Bass.
“Featuring signature hum-canceling pickups by Howard Ulyate, the unique Ray Ross bridge, and the Brubaker Bolt-Through neck the sound is big, clear, and fast,” the company says. “A passive design using sealed Bourns pots ensure low noise and long life plus, a battery compartment is standard on every bass to provide an upgrade path should the player wish to add a preamp.”
The JXB-USA Standard is built with a poplar body, hard maple neck, and hard maple fingerboard. They come in five finishes: Ox Blood, Lake Placid Blue, Gold Metallic, Olympic White, and Classic Sunburst.
A five-string version is available now for $2,599 with a four-string coming soon for $2,499.
