Steel Panther Announces Open Bass Player Audition

Next Steel Panther Bassist?

Last month, longtime bassist Lexxi Foxx left Steel Panther, leaving the band without a low ender. Now the band has announced an open audition for their next bass player. The humorous hair metal group is accepting video submissions and has vowed to view all of them.

“Do you have the look?” They ask. “Do you have the sexiness? Do have the chops? Are there any warrants for your arrest internationally or domestically?”

Steel Panther is accepting video submissions of bassists playing any Steel Panther song as well as an introduction and pitch clip. You can find all the requirements on the Steel Panther website.

In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.
