I can’t believe I never saw this video before, but 13 years later, I’m glad I did.

Recorded in 2008 in Los Angeles, here’s Herbie Hancock, Bob Sheppard, Marcus Miller, Lionel Loueke, and Vinnie Colaiuta performing “Cantaloupe Island” and Joni Mitchell’s “River”. Joni took the stage for the second song, and Marcus switched to double bass (at the 9:45 mark).

So much talent on one stage!
