Back in 2019, No Treble reader Rod Wray sent us a video by Tokyo Groove Jyoshi and their unique performance of Tower of Power’s “What Is Hip?”.

We’ve been fans ever since.

Here’s a video bassist Juna Serita released in October, with the band getting down on “Funk No.1”.
