Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators Release Fourth Album
Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators (aka SMKC) have released their fourth studio album, aptly entitled 4. The hard rock luminaries took a more organic approach to recording this go around by tracking live at RCA Studio A in Nashville, Tennessee.
SMKC is anchored by bassist Todd Kerns, who lays down solid bass lines with a thick, gritty tone. He weighed in on the album with his favorite tracks.
“One of my favs on SMKC4 is the closing track ‘Fall Back To Earth’. To me it feels like the end credits of a movie,” he shared on Instagram. “I like the epic tunes like ‘The Unholy’ from World On Fire. This one feels like Bowie meets Pink Floyd as played by SMKC. This clip is from our Live At Studio 60 performance where we performed every song on 4.”:
