Bass of the Week: Anka Custom Guitars Jarius 5
Anka Custom Guitars & Basses shared this five-string version of their Jarius model on Facebook, and it’s too good not to feature. Its alder body comes in a matte blue and black burst. The cool colors are complemented by the warmth of a roasted maple neck and an ebony fingerboard fitted with pearl dot inlays.
Anka chose an Aguilar MM/P pickup configuration matched to the Aguilar OBP-3 preamp. One of the most striking photos they shared was of the super clean wiring in the control cavity. It doesn’t get much better than that.

How did they get those wires to behave so nice like that. That’s the most well laid out cavity I’ve ever seen in my life. Beautiful instrument throughout.
