Danny Ziemann Offering Free “First Call Bassist Roadmap” Workshop June 4 & 5

Jazz bassist and educator Danny Ziemann has announced a free workshop series. The “First Call Bassist Roadmap” event takes place June 4th and 5th via Zoom and is designed for both electric and double bassists of all experience levels.

“We know that bassists should have the best ears in any musical group… but it’s not really clear how to develop them,” Ziemann says. “And though there are apps and other tools that can train your ears, they don’t always take you from Point A to Point B — or show you how the skills translate to real-life situations. In these workshops, you’ll walk away with a personalized roadmap for transforming your ears and listening chops, giving you the tools to play with more freedom and musical confidence on the bandstand.”
