Ibanez Introduces New Acoustic Bass Guitar for NAMM
Ibanez will be exhibiting at the 2022 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California next week, and they’ve unveiled some of the new instruments they’ll be bringing along. That includes a new acoustic bass guitar model named the AEGB24E.
Available in Mahogany Sunburst High Gloss and Black High Gloss finishes, the bass is built with their AEG body shape in sapele with a merbau finger rest along the sound hole. Its three-piece neck is made from nyatoh and maple with a walnut fretboard.
Ibanez fits the bass with an under saddle pickup with their AEQ-2T preamp, which features an onboard tuner. Hear the bass in action with this incredible demo by Masaaki Saito:
The Ibanez AEGB24E will be shipping soon for $449.
