Jackson Unveils New JS Spectra Model Basses

Jackson JS Series Spectra JS2P Bass Blue Black Burst

Jackson has expanded their JS Series of Spectra basses with the JS2P, the JS3, and the JS3V. Each of the basses has the Spectra off-set body shape made from poplar.

The JS2P adds a poplar burl top in either blue burst or black burst finishes. For electronics, Jackson fits the JS2P with a P/J pickup set and an active/passive preamp with a bass boost.

The JS3 and five-string JS3V have a new Indigo Blue finish as well as Gloss Black, Metallic Red, Silverburst, or Snow White. It is instead loaded with a pair of humbuckers and a 3-band EQ. Another unique feature is its 12” to 16” compound radius laurel fingerboard.

See and hear the basses in action in Jackson’s demo video:

The Jackson JS Series Spectra JS2P is available for $299.99 while the JS3 goes for $349.99 and the five-string JS3V goes for $399.99.
