Mike Watt to Join Flipper on Tour
Punk bass icon Mike Watt will be heading to Europe as the third member of Flipper for their “’Till the Wheels Fall Off Tour.” He will be playing bass as well as singing with founding members Stephen DePace on drums and Ted Falconi on guitar.
“It is again great honor to be invited back aboard the good ship, Flipper, for another UK/European tour,” Watt says. “Truly, I can’t thank Steve and brother Ted enough and promise to try my hardest for them and their music which I believe they big time deserve. ‘Till The Wheels Fall Off – Yes!”
The outing will take them through the UK during July and early August, then skipping the Channel into the European mainland. Their final concert is slated for August 20th in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
