Death By Audio Introduces the Space Bender Pedal

Death By Audio Space Bender PedalDeath By Audio has unveiled the Space Bender Chorus Modulator, a new pedal that “replicates and warps your signal into beautiful and organic transmissions from a dimension somewhere beyond linear time.” The unique unit has two knobs to control speed and depth with three rocker switches for setting the Delay Time, Modulator, and Intensity.

“Never again will you say this chorus pedal just isn’t intense enough!” says DBA’s Oliver Ackermann.

The pedal’s Modulator switch sets the main source of modulation to either be a sine wave oscillator in LFO mode or an envelope in ENV mode. From there, the Speed knob sets the LFO speed or envelop sensitivity, and the Depth knob controls the depth of the envelope or the LFO and delay feedback. Its intensity knob is self-explanatory, and Death By Audio says high intensity can create oscillations, feedback, and crazy noises, adding that “Death By Audio is not responsible for what your audience will think of you. Unless they love it, in which case we are.”
