Keep It Groovy: Fast, Box Shuffle a la “I’m Tore Down”

In this lesson, we’ll keep it groovy with a fast-paced shuffle pattern that takes advantage of the “blues box.” Making the shape of a box on the fretboard is often used for quick shuffles, such as the classic “I’m Tore Down” performed by artists like Freddie King, Eric Clapton, and many others.

While there are a few variations of this pattern, this is the most common and will often be doubled alongside the guitar.

Enjoy and keep it groovy!
