Fodera Guitars Unveils the Monarch 5 Standard Bass

Fodera Guitars Monarch 5 Standard Bass

Fodera has once again expanded their Standard series. The Monarch 5 Standard is described as blending aesthetics, playability, and reliability with a different tonal palette from the line. Notably, the difference in its pickup configuration that pairs an Aguilar DCB-5M humbucker with a DCB-5J single coil. The pickups are then fed into a Fodera/Pope 4-band Standard preamp.

“Aguilar’s dual ceramic bar design gives these pickups a uniform magnetic field for an accurate dynamic response with a higher output level than traditional passive pickups,” Fodera explains. “Designed for optimal performance, our 4-Band Fodera/Pope Preamp offers an incredibly low noise flow, a musical sounding EQ, and active/passive operation for maximum reliability and flexibility whether you’re on stage or in the studio. Together, these electronics let you tailor your tone, from deep and round to bright and punchy and everything in between.”

The Monarch 5 standard is built with a walnut body, Ivorywood top, three-piece quarter-sawn hard rock maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard.
