Percy Jones and PAKT Announce Spring Tour
In 2021, fretless bass master Percy Jones unveiled his latest project called PAKT, which also features Alex Skolnick, Kenny Grohowski, and Tim Motzer. The group had a busy year and is now back with a new set of tour dates for February and March.
As you might expect from this collection of players, the music is an incredible blend of jazz, prog rock, metal, and noise music.
“PAKT recalls the fearless attitude and daring approach that originally defined progressive music: where the magic of the moment always triumphs over preconception,” a press release states. “Their blistering improvisations serve as a reminder to aficionados of what initially drew them to this most creative, visionary of musics.”
The tour kicks off on February 18th in New York City and will make its way into the Midwest. Its final date is set for March 5th in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the Ludlow Garage.
